Rose Commission (SOLD)

A 6 × 4 ft original commission, executed entirely in spray paint. The piece presents an oversized rose through sweeping forms, layered color, and assertive black contours, transforming a familiar symbol of beauty into something visceral and imposing.
Soft blush and dusty pink tones emerge against a saturated red field, while deep shadows, overspray, drips, and gestural markings give the composition a sense of immediacy and motion. The contrast between the delicacy of the rose and the rawness of the medium creates a work that feels simultaneously romantic and unruly.
